Paracas is a national reserve located in the south of Lima, in there is located the “Ballestas Islands” where we will have contact with sea lions, amazing birdlife and tiny penguins, the atmosphere is great with big variety of birds which will involve you in the meantime you are visiting the islands by boat.

A tour guide from our company and our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel after driving 3 and a half hours you should be in the Chaco’s port in Pisco town, then we will help you to take a boat to visit the Ballestas Islands

After this excursion into the Ballestas islands your tour guide will take you to visit the impressive sand dunes and the oasis called Huacachina where sandboarding is waiting for us. This tour is both thrilling and beautiful, transporting you at high speeds deep into the desert to see the huge sand dunes on the coast. These mountains of sand are beautiful and surreal. And adventurous travelers are welcome to try sandboarding down the dunes

ITINERARY
This a tour with more travelers in a touristic Van or Mini Bus.

PARACAS – BALLESTAS ISLANDS

Arrival at the tourist port of Paracas, where we will begin our tour to the Ballestas Islands in modern gliders, using life jackets. During the tour you will be able to see El Candelabro (huge geoglyph of uncertain origin). Then we will continue towards the Ballestas Islands, which are made up of rock formations where we will observe from our boat an important marine fauna, guano birds such as the guanay, the booby and the tendril among others. We will also observe the famous sea lions and the friendly Humboldt penguins. The excursion is about 1 hour and 30 minutes aprox. ( depends on weather conditions and Peruvian Navy authorities) Return to Paracas Bay.
Time for lunch.

HUACACHINA OASIS

Later we will visit the Huacachina oasis, this oasis arose from the outcropping of underground water currents, which allows the existence of vegetation composed of palm trees, eucalyptus and carob known as huarango. This is an ideal place to disconnect from the routine and give yourself a break.

TUBULARS AND SANDBOARDING

Adventure sports lovers will be able to do the famous Tubulars with our sand cars with which they can enjoy a beautiful tour in the sand dunes of different sizes and they will also be able to do sandboarding (board in the sand ), After visiting the “Huacachina Oasis” we will use our buggies and enter into the peruvian coast dessert, we will stop in one of the highest Sand Dunes and will provide you the special boards, our tour guide will teach you how to use it, so you can start practicing in a couple of dunes. If you dont want to practice this sport you may use the time to take great pictures with the great landscapes we have in one of the highest sand dunes of all Perú.

VINEYARD – WINE AND PISCO TASTING

Visit one of the biggest vineyard we have in Perú, we will tour its facilities and learn about the wine and pisco production process. Then we will taste different wines such as Burgundy wine, Vino de Misa, Macerarado de Fruta, Pisco among others. Each tasting accompanied with typical phrases from Ica, you may taste and also buy all the production!
